Started an online grocery store in Lagos Nigeria in 2013 before selling it after mismanging it.

Tobi O. Akingbade, a Nigerian British tax professional and enterprising spirit, boasts a diverse background spanning media and entertainment, banking, and professional services.

His entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding the UK's premier urban student bar crawl, Barfest, which once saw ticket sales rivaling Beyoncé's concert tickets. He was also instrumental in orchestrating AfricaUnplugged, a historic African music concert that brought together over 20 artists from across the continent to perform at London's iconic Wembley Arena.

In the realm of agriculture, he initiated an online grocery venture integrated with farms in Southwest Nigeria, later divesting due to personal reasons. Besides his role as EMEA Employment Tax Operations Lead at JP Morgan Chase, Tobi serves as a Managing Partner at HappyMan HQ—an innovative collective focused on disrupting the agro-processing, marketing, and retail sectors. Notable brands under the HappyMan HQ umbrella include South London Kitchen, FoodIsNotLuxury, WhatDoAfricansEat, and Tasansan.

Tobi's devotion to his Christian faith is evident through his active participation in the vibrant and diverse TLC London church community. He also spearheaded VIBE, a community of over 400 young, talented individuals passionately advancing God's mission. Additionally, he founded COALS, a mental health support group tailored for young men. In his personal life, Tobi shares a deep bond with his beloved partner, Marian O. Akingbade, and together, they cherish their precious daughter, Lucia O. Akingbade.
